Students with a minimum of B+ (87-89%), are in good academic standing, and have no outstanding fees, are eligible to become the Valedictorian of their graduating class. All nominators, nominees, and references will be contacted for confirmation of nomination. All nominations are due by June 15, 2022.

Any student who has met the requirements to graduate for the 2022 Convocation Ceremony is eligible to nominate a fellow student who has met the requirements to graduate for the 2022 Convocation Ceremony.

One letter from the nominee outlining their participation in GITEL, local assembly, ministerial experience, and leadership roles.

The Selection Committee will focus on merit, referee comments including pastoral interview/presentation.
​
The Valedictorian is expected to draft a personalized speech, approved by GITEL Administration. Note: The speech must be appropriate to the dignity of the occasion and will be delivered at the Convocation Ceremony.
